pink & black & blue for you
I got my hands on a Cookie Dough Ball recipe from my now favourite dessert blog, Chocolate Covered Katie. Funfetti was substituted with Walnuts and cookies were consumed for breakfast. Three were made first. And then nine more. You know how it goes.

for a girl like you to come around
There's something grotesquely glorious about this dress with it's awkward drop waist. The fact that it's three sized too big for me made it a total win for me. Everything and more that I could expect from a $3 thrifted dress, which is slowly falling to pieces. This makes it perfect for over-eating at lunch.
I was going for Craft Spell's "Idle Labor" album cover, which is truly the mother of all album covers (eat your heart out Power, Corruption and Lies), but then I got distracted by the neon pom-pom necklace I'd made at some point in my life, perhaps only semi-consciously, and so this is what happened, vintage purple suede cross-body purse in tow. Everything about the last part of that sentence is wonderful.
"Scandinavian Crush" by Craft Spells to be played for optimal viewing pleasure.

i guess i should take prozac, right, & just smile all night
Currently too tired to articulate a semblance of coherency, but then again, when am I ever coherent? But a giant Flourless Chocolate Walnut Cookie was made from Francois Payard's recipe extracted from an old New York Magazine , and ofcourse tea, to soothe my very, very tired bones.
Only to be consumed with a wonderfully laid-back song by The Magnetic Fields. An ASOS dress was worn during the duration of the day, which has now been replaced with a ratty grey Nike t-shirt, quite possibly worn the wrong way round.

we could learn to love, to control it
I can be a girl at times, a very girly girl. I know that my tough exterior may mislead you to think otherwise, but such is the case. And these are some very pretty, very girly things which need to be in my life, but due to unfortunate economic circumstances, such will not be the case.
This Bernard Wilhelm dress has a man and dog print on it. As in an actual man with his actual dog and somehow it is so horrifying, that it is beautiful. Perhaps it is even a fortunate thing that I have no money to spare because this whimsical, badass candy-coloured Shourouk necklace would be the sort of thing I'd stuff into my mouth when no one is looking. Because it looks good enough to eat. Not because of my propensity for eating rhinestones and beads.
Also this Society 6 Nebula 3 by ThoughtCloud iPhone Case is so precious, if I had it in my life, I'd stroke it with a dreamy look upon my face and whisper sweet nothings to it, preferably while looking like this girl, taken from the lookbook of the Copenhagen-based store Brics.
And my favourite track by Blouse, so dreamy and haunting, it's the sort of thing you want to take a nap to, or make sweet, slow love to. Or make sweet, slow love and then nap to. Or nap and then make sweet, slow love to. What I'm saying is, this is a really great song.
